- Photography and Videography Consent
By agreeing to this document, you grant Surf City Comic Con and its representative’s permission to take photographs and record video footage of your cosplay and participation in the Surf City Comic Con Cosplay Contest. This includes group shots, individual photos, and video clips taken during the event.
- Rights and Usage
You authorize Surf City Comic Con to use, edit, reproduce, publish, and distribute any submitted
photographs, video footage, or other media content taken during the event for promotional
purposes, including but not limited to:
o Posting on Surf City Comic Con’s social media channels
o Publishing on the Surf City Comic Con website
o Featuring in newsletters, advertisements, and other marketing materials
- No Financial Compensation
You understand that you will not receive any monetary compensation for the use of your likeness in the photos or videos submitted to this contest, and no further permission is required for subsequent use of these materials.
- Attribution
Surf City Comic Con may include, at its discretion, proper attribution to the participant in the form of a name or cosplay alias in any publication or post.
- Personal Data Protection
Surf City Comic Con is committed to safeguarding your personal information. Your data will only be used in relation to this agreement and will not be shared with third parties except as required by law or for contest-related purposes.
- Release of Liability
You release Surf City Comic Con, its affiliates, employees, and representatives from any and all liability related to the capture and use of your images or likeness in relation to the cosplay contest.
- Duration of Agreement
This agreement is effective once you have agreed and submitted your form and extends indefinitely unless revoked
in writing.
